Play the Mind and Convergence, Perceptions of Neuroscience, have the pleasure to introduce the new conferences series focused on the crossover of science, the arts and communication: "Convergence Sci-Art Art-Sci Conferences."
Sensory was the second Convergence Neuroscience event. Where students of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Concordia Universiy explored the links between the signals, the pathways carrying them to the brain and the processes before they become perceptions. They visited the Vision Labs in the Montreal General Hospital, part of the BRaIN Program of the MUHC to experience from first hand the innovative neuroscience work done by the scientist on those installations.
The White Box event was organized by the Arts Communication Convergence Committee, and on December 11th, 2016 toured scientist by three different venues of the contemporary art scene in Montreal, Musée d'art Contemporain de Montréal (MAC), The SBC Gallery of Contemporary Art, and The Visual Voice Gallery.
